When something stops the robot from replying, falatu tells you. It all lives in Settings → Alerts (only the account owner can change it).
What triggers an alert
| Alert | When | When it's resolved |
|---|---|---|
| Instagram disconnected | Instagram's access expired or was removed. Active automations are paused. | You reconnect: they start again by themselves. |
| Messages failing | The last 5 automatic messages didn't go out (the email shows what Instagram said). | An automatic message goes out normally. |
| Instagram stopped telling falatu | Your posts with an active automation got new comments, but Instagram hasn't sent anything to falatu for 30 minutes. | Instagram's notifications arrive again. |
| Sending paused | A rule stopped sending: Instagram asked to slow down, the account hit the hourly limit, or the falatu team paused it for safety. | The pause ends. |
Each problem sends one email when it starts and one when it's resolved. While it lasts, a notice stays at the top of every screen in the app.
A quiet account (no new comments) never triggers an alert: falatu only complains about Instagram when Instagram counts comments that never arrived.
Email me when something breaks comes on. Even with it off, the Instagram disconnected email always goes out: without it, the robot would stop with nobody knowing.
Daily Needs you summary
One email a day with what's waiting for you in Needs you: how many conversations and the 10 newest, each with the person's @, what they wrote, the post and a link to reply.
- It arrives at the time you pick (default 08:00), in your time zone: the one where you last opened the app.
- If everything is answered, nothing arrives.
- It comes on. Turn it off in Settings → Alerts → Daily Needs you summary.
Alert webhook (Discord)
If you want alerts in a channel, paste a URL in Alert webhook. falatu sends it the same alerts (when they start and when they're resolved) and the daily summary.
On Discord: in the channel, open Edit channel → Integrations → Webhooks → New webhook, copy the URL and paste it into falatu. Tap Test to see the message arrive. falatu recognizes Discord's address and sends in Discord's format.
Any other URL gets JSON like this:
{
"type": "alert.opened",
"kind": "send_failures",
"org": { "id": "…", "name": "Lia's Shop" },
"account": "@shop",
"title": "Messages failing on @shop",
"message": "The last 5 automatic messages didn't go out. …",
"url": "https://app.falatu.ai/settings",
"at": "2026-10-15T11:05:00.000Z"
}
type is alert.opened, alert.resolved or digest.daily. The daily summary also carries count and items (up to 10: handle, text, post, reason, url, at).
The URL must start with https://. Only the account owner sees the address.
A 100K+ profile interacted
Also in Alerts: an email when someone with 100K followers or more comments or sends a DM. Off by default, on the Pro plan. See Contacts.
