Account language

One language for everything — the app, the emails and what the bot sends your followers. Where to change it and what changes.

Your account has one language. It applies to the app, falatu's emails and everything the bot writes on its own: public replies, the ask to tap, the buttons, the ask to follow, the message with the link, the "didn't arrive" resend and the signature.

Where it comes from

From the language of the page you signed up on: sign up in Portuguese (the default for people in Brazil) and the whole account is in Portuguese. Google sign-up works the same way.

How to change it

In Settings → Account language. One change switches:

  • the app (it reloads on the same page, in the new language);
  • the emails you get;
  • the bot's default texts, buttons included (✅ Me manda, ✅ Já segui, 🔗 Abrir in Portuguese; ✅ Send it, ✅ I followed, 🔗 Open in English; ✅ Mándamelo, ✅ Ya te sigo, 🔗 Abrir in Spanish).

Only the account owner can change it.

One automation in another language

If a post talks to a different audience, open the automation and pick Language of this automation's messages. Only that automation's default texts change; the rest of the account stays in the account language.

Comments in any language

The account language is the language the bot writes in. To understand, it reads Portuguese, English and Spanish on every account: the keyword, "didn't arrive" ("não chegou", "no me llegó"), complaints, compliments and the "yes" after the ask to tap.

Still stuck? Write to hello@falatu.ai and we will get back to you.
